Justin Bieber's Snake To Lady Gaga's Egg: 2011 Red-Carpet Highlights1676575
Beyonce's baby bump was one of the year's most-memorable moments.

Anything can happen on the red carpet at any given awards show, and in 2011, it felt like anything that could happen did. As MTV News reflects on some of the biggest moments of the year, we decided to remember some of the most-memorable things A-listers did live right in front of us all.
Lady Gaga's Egg
In February, Gaga had everyone guessing how she would arrive to the Grammys. Given her penchant for crazy looks, no one would have guessed she would have showed up in an egg. Designed by Hussein Chalayan, Gaga later emerged from the structure to proclaim that she was "Born This Way." What was your favorite red-carpet moment of 2011? Vote in our Newsroom poll! Snooki
Speaking of the Grammys, the reality star joined MTV News' own Sway Calloway to talk to all the stars at the show. After helping us out on the 2010 red carpet, we learned that anything is possible with Snooki, and 2011 solidified that she's the fieriest "meatball" to grace the "Jersey Shore." We wonder if she and Bruno Mars ever ended up dating. Paul McDonald and Nikki Reed
"Twilight" star Nikki Reed surprised everyone when she hit up the MTV Movie Awards in June. No, she hadn't borrowed Gaga's egg: She was rocking an engagement rock from her beau and "American Idol" alum Paul McDonald. The couple used the red carpet as the platform to announce their engagement, and married in October. Beyoncé's Baby Bump
She might have rubbed that burgeoning baby bump onstage at the Video Music Awards in August, but hours before she took the stage, donning a bright orange gown, Beyoncé let the paparazzi know she was expecting her first child with hubby Jay-Z by flaunting her pregnancy glow. Justin Bieber's Snake
While Beyoncé shared with the world her baby news, Bieber not only planted a kiss on VMA pre-show host and real-life lady love Selena Gomez, but also introduced her to his pet snake. His name? Johnson. She seemed less interested in the snake than perhaps he would have liked. What was your favorite red-carpet moment in 2011? Share your pick below!

Britney Spears Is Engaged1676120
Sources tell UsMagazine.com that the singer's beau proposed on his 40th birthday.

Could it be that Britney Spears is ready to walk down the aisle again?
After a report surfaced on TMZ that the singer's longtime beau and "Criminal" co-star Jason Trawick planned to pop the question Friday night (December 16) in Las Vegas, the singer took to Twitter early Friday and had this mysterious message for her fans. "OMG. Last night Jason surprised me with the one gift I've been waiting for," she wrote. "Can't wait to show you! SO SO SO excited!!!! Xxo" A rep for the singer hadn't responded to MTV News' request for comment by press time, but sources confirmed the news to People magazine. TMZ further reports that Jason asked Britney's dad, Jamie, for his daughter's hand before he popped the question. According to reports, Britney already knew about the engagement and the couple will sign a prenuptial agreement. As for her conservatorship, her conservators have signed off on the couple's plans to marry; a judge will most likely give them the go-ahead to tie the knot. A source tells Usmagazine.com that Trawick asked his lady love to marry him on Thursday night while the two were at a romantic dinner celebrating his 40th birthday. The couple will celebrate the engagement at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas on Friday. "This is something they've both wanted for a long time," the source told the site. "It's a way to cement their family. They're both extremely happy and can't wait to become man and wife." The Neil Lane ring is a four-carat, round-cut diamond with micro pave diamonds around the band, according to E! News. "It's classic, simple and beautiful," a rep for the jewelry company told the site. The rep added that Trawick worked with the designer to design a "dream ring" for his future wife. While there's no confirmation from Spears' camp just yet about the engagement, Spears did reveal something on Twitter: what she bought Jason for his birthday. "Hbday Jason! He looked so cool in the video, that I had to get him a new motorcycle," she wrote. "Check out this new Confederate Bike I got him!"

Katy Perry Enlists B.o.B for 'One That Got Away' Remix1676115
MTV's Artist of the Year's new record should be available for purchase next week.

Katy Perry has teamed up with B.o.B for a remix of her song "The One That Got Away" from her album Teenage Dream.
Perry's label, Capitol, has submitted the track to radio, and it should be available for Katy Cats to buy by next week, according to Billboard.com. Perry has achieved a record five #1 singles off the album to date. Michael Jackson is the only other artist to have done the same, with his Bad album. However, if "The One" goes to #1, Katy will become the first artist with six #1 Hot 100 singles off of one album. This is not the first time Katy has remixed one of her singles. Earlier this year, she worked with Kanye West on "E.T." (the duo won a VMA for Best Collaboration for the video) and later, Missy Elliott got onboard a remix of Perry's single "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)." Perry's chart dominance was one of the factors that helped make her MTV's 2011 Artist of the Year. She also had the #10 song of the year with "Firework." "Hi everyone at MTV! I just want to say thank you for this amazing award," she said in a video message. "To be Artist of the Year, a whole 365 days, that's pretty cool. I wasn't really allowed to watch MTV growing up, so this feels really validating," she said. "And I've had a fantastic year, a great tour and a great run, and you guys have been so a part of it and such a big reason why. So thank you so much. I really appreciate it."

Have you RSVP'd for Lady Gaga's wedding yet? On Thursday (December 1), Gaga will make it official with all things nighttime when she premieres her self-directed video for her track "Marry the Night." Shot in Gaga's hometown of New York City in October, previews have shown that in Gaga's world, anything can happen, including vintage-feeling trips to the psych ward and "Fame"-esque dance numbers.
When MTV News caught up with some of Gaga's Little Monsters outside of Barneys in New York City, they weighed in on what they thought might go down in Mother Monster's latest video.
"I had some inside info ... lots of explosions, lots of hair, lots of makeup, lots of symbolism, lots of Gaga," Catherine Lloyd dished. "It's gonna be perfect."
Kyle Larkins has no doubt that the video will be all Gaga all the time. "I have no idea what to expect from the 'Marry the Night' video. It's Gaga," he said. "She's crazy in all wonderful ways, so I'm looking forward to see what she's going to come up with." "My expectations are that it's going to be over-the-top," Alisa Lopez added. "She derives most of her inspiration from, well, her videographical inspiration — from Michael Jackson's videos, Madonna's videos — so I'm expecting it'll be longer than 10 minutes."
While no one but Gaga knows what will happen in the video until it drops, Vanity Fair was on set during filming, and Gaga described it as "autobiographical," adding that she's "getting ready to relive the worst day of my life" in the clip. Shot on the day when Gaga was wheeled through a hospital on a gurney, she added that "it's chaotic and sad. But I don't want it to be safe." The scene reportedly is based on a situation in her real life.
Fan Amy Guerra made this guess about the video: "I'm expecting Gaga to reveal some stuff that we don't know about her. ... I am really excited to see it because I'm a big fan of her and I know she'll just meet my expectations."

Zac Efron Visits the "Today" Show

On the stretch run when it comes to promoting his new movie "New Year's Eve," Zac Efron visited NBC Studios for an appearance on the "Today" show on Wednesday morning (December 7).
Looking suave in a black leather jacket over a light buttondown top, the 24-year-old teamed up with co-star Michelle Pfeiffer for the morning show visit.
Talking about the Garry Marshall directed romantic comedy during the visit, Efron was once again asked about whether he was nervous to share a smooch with 53-year-old Pfeiffer.
To this, Zac confessed, "A little. It's always a little bit nerve racking, those kind of scenes, and it was also in the middle of the night. It was one of the coldest nights, I think, in the history of New York City."

Zac Efron Hits NYC, Talks "New Year's Eve" Kiss

Fresh off of a big night on Hollywood's Grauman's Chinese Theatre red carpet, Zac Efron flew across the country as he arrived into JFK Airport in New York City on Tuesday evening (December 6).
Clad in a grey top, black jacket, grey trousers and shades, the former "High School Musical" star shuffled through the always-busy metro terminal while in the Big Apple to promote his new movie "New Year's Eve".
Having premiered the Garry Marshall directed picture in Tinseltown the previous night, Zac chatted with press about his liplock with actress Michelle Pfeiffer in the film - which hits theaters this Friday (December 9).
Confessing that it wasn;t the dreamiest of moments, the 24-year-old told, "Those things are best to do spontaneous. Have fun and be in the moment. I definitely thought about how it was going to go down. In my mind, the way I pictured it, it was going to be perfect, very romantic, very leading man.
"Then of course, as we went to film it, right when I went to dip her, a huge piece of confetti went straight into my mouth. I didn't want to finish the kiss like that, so I spit and went for it. That's actually in the movie," Zac continued.
His 53-year-old smooch partner, Miss Pfeiffer, added, "It wasn't very sexy, but it was cute."

Katy Perry Would 'Love To Have Children' With Russell Brand
'If it doesn't hurt the first time, I'll keep popping them out,' singer tells Ellen DeGeneres.

Katy Perry and Russell Brand celebrated their one-year wedding anniversary last month, and now Perry is talking about starting a family ... eventually.
During her appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," which airs Friday (November 11), Perry was asked whether she and Brand have been making baby plans (you know, when she's not out on her unending California Dreams Tour), and she answered that yes, they've discussed it, but that's about as far as things have gone.
"I would love to have children. I think that's one of the reasons you get married, and especially to the person that you marry. You think, Hmmm, that person is going to be a good partner, a good parent," Perry told DeGeneres. "But I'm not sure it's yet. We'll see, you know?"
DeGeneres asked whether Perry wanted to have more than one baby, to which the singer replied, "If it doesn't hurt the first time, I'll keep popping them out."
"Word around town is it hurts," DeGeneres joked. "But people keep doing it anyway — they don't care."
Perry also talked about how she and Brand manage their busy schedules, saying they have a self-imposed two-week limit on time apart. "I saw him yesterday," she said. "[It had been] two weeks, that's the longest we ever go. Anything longer than that is not fun."
The couple were married on October 23, 2010, in a "private and spiritual ceremony" in India, one that not surprisingly received more than its fair share of tabloid coverage. A few weeks after the wedding, Perry told MTV News that she found all the rumors and speculation to be quite amusing, and added that she was "too busy getting married" to keep up with all the coverage.
"I don't mind my wedding has turned into kind of a myth. It's kind of cool," she said. "We kept it kind of private, so when we heard some of the things that were going around we were like, 'Ah, that's hilarious."

Holiday cheer filled the 2011 American Music Awards on Sunday night (November 20) when Justin Bieber took to the stage to perform his festive hit "Mistletoe," from his chart-topping Christmas album, Under the Mistletoe.
Presented by friend and collaborator Sean Kingston, the Biebster began the song atop a high platform as smoke spread below his feet. In an all-white ensemble, the singer strolled from each side of the platform, igniting a string of neon lights. As he crooned his way through the Messenger-produced song, Bieber walked onto lower platforms before making his way onto the main stage.
And it wasn't just JB who lit up with arena, but also the audience. Cameras panned to shots of attendees waving glow sticks.
Bieber took to Twitter over the weekend to hype up his AMA performance, writing, "AMA blocking rehearsal. @dankanter is here. sounds like fun." Kanter, his musical director, echoed similar sentiments about the star's set. "AMA rehearsal. JB is killing it! Just wait until you all see him tomorrow night!!!" he tweeted.
JB has many more stuffers left in his stocking, including appearances on NBC's Christmas tree lighting November 30 and TNT's annual "Christmas in Washington" TV special December 11.

Khloe Kardashian may be in some legal trouble. The reality star is reportedly being sued for assault in connection with an alleged incident that took place in Hollywood in 2009.
TMZ reported that Kardashian got into an argument with a transgender woman named Chantal Spears (real name Ronald Spears) on December 5, 2009, at Playhouse nightclub. Spears claims that the reality star pushed and struck her "in and about her body," leading to injuries.
The website further reports that the altercation took place when Spears allegedly walked up to Khloe's husband, Lamar Odom, and told him that he was "too young to be married." In a video posted at the time of the incident, she told a cameraman for the website, "All I was telling Lamar Odom is maybe he is too young to get married, and all of a sudden I get this big push from this girl," she explained. "She hit me. She pushed me and hit me. [Security] didn't say nothing. It was her. She looked in my face. I tried to get her and she pushed me again."
Later Spears is seen holding up a police report and saying, "She's in trouble. Yeah, [she's going to court] because everyone seen her hit me first."
In her lawsuit, Spears says she didn't provoke anyone and is seeking unspecified damages. A rep for Kardashian had not responded to MTV News' request for comment by press time.
