Ever since "Glee" guest star Darren Criss warbled Katy Perry's track "Teenage Dream" on the series' November 9 episode "Never Been Kissed," he and Perry have been directing enthusiastic accolades at one another through the press. The pair finally had the first in-person meeting of their "mutual admiration society" at Sunday's American Music Awards, and Criss left singing Perry's praises once again.
"[I met Perry] very, very quickly," Criss told MTV News while walking the red carpet at Rolling Stone's post-AMA party. "It was cool. She's very sweet."
Following Criss' debut on the Fox musical series earlier this month, Perry shared her compliments via Twitter, writing, "Oh...My...Gosh... this just brought a sweet tear to my eye! Teenage Dream on GLEE makes my heart go WEEEEE!" She later told "Access Hollywood," "He's amazing! I love when any of my songs are remixed or interpreted differently. I just love that. I really welcome a creative mind to anything."
Criss was flattered by Perry's praise, telling MTV News last week the feelings were indeed mutual. "Katy makes my heart 'go weeeee,' " he said.
Criss has been quick to credit Perry and the track's other writers and producers — Dr. Luke, Ben Levin, Bonnie McKee and Max Martin — with the single's success (it reached #1 on the digital downloads chart last week, a first for a "Glee" single).
"I'm forever in [Katy's] debt, basically," Criss said. "She's been very supportive about the whole thing. She's a cool chick, and I'm a big fan."

In October, Justin Bieber debuted the first trailer for his February 3-D flick "Never Say Never." And on Monday (November 22), just one day after his big night at the AMAs, a new trailer for the flick hit the Internet.
The sneak peek opens with classical music playing as the screen reads, "This Valentine's Day," over an image of Bieber. Soon, the singer is spraying silly string as the screen reads, "See Bieber like never before." Then, Bieber throws popcorn at the camera — all tricks to play up the film being in 3-D.
Soon, a montage of Bieber as a kid flashes across the screen along with concert video and behind-the-scenes footage of the singer with various people in Bieber's camp sharing tidbits about the singer, including "He could really be huge, if he wanted" and "He's 16, and he's doing it all on his own."
At the end of the trailer, Bieber is seen learning about the cameras used to shoot his 3-D flick as he sticks out 3-D glasses and looks into a screen seeing what the 3-D will look like. "That's sick, right?" he says. "It looks like it's about to hit that guy in the head."
It was just announced that fans can catch a sneak-peek screening of the film February 9, two days before it officially hits theaters. They'll be surprised just to see I'm a regular person," he said. "I'm a regular teenage boy. I like girls, and I like to hang out with my friends. It's gonna be taking them into my world, but also like it's their world, 'cause it's just normal."

'Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows' At The Box Office: How High Will It Go?
'This has a very real shot at hitting $1 billion worldwide,' says Boxoffice.com editor Phil Contrino.

After opening to $102.7 million in ticket sales the weekend before Thanksgiving 2005, "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" swept through to the post-holiday weekend and picked up another $54.7 million — just a 47-percent drop from its opening numbers.
Five years later, in a return to a November release, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1" succeeded in notching the franchise's highest 10-day launch ever. But that hefty total (an estimated $220.4 million domestically) is less impressive considering the latest boy wizard flick is only the third-largest installment in terms of actual attendance, according to Box Office Mojo.
Still, it would be enormously impressive if "Deathly Hallows, Part 1" could sustain that 10-day head start and become the highest-grossing movie in the series. Unfortunately, many observers believe that just isn't going to happen.
"I don't think 'Deathly Hallows' will be the top-grossing 'Potter' film, or even the second biggest, despite the higher ticket prices," Gitesh Pandya of Box Office Guru said, noting the film's 61 percent drop from its opening weekend. "It's running 9 percent ahead of 'Goblet of Fire' over the same release span and its lead is shrinking."
At an $895 million worldwide total, "Goblet of Fire" stands as the fourth-highest-grossing film in the series, well behind "Sorcerer's Stone" with $974.7 million (#8 on the all-time list). "Deathly Hallows, Part 1" should have little trouble eclipsing that "Goblet of Fire" sum, and some box-office experts even suggest it could zip past "Sorcerer's Stone" to become the first franchise installment to break the $1 billion mark.
"This has a very real shot at hitting $1 billion worldwide since it already has more than $600 million in the bank," Phil Contrino, editor of Boxoffice.com, said. "I could see it breaking into the top five all-time worldwide earners."
While opinions differ on where "Deathly Hallows, Part 1" will end up, one thing is certain: Warner Bros. is awfully happy about the film's performance. And when you add in home video and merchandise sales, the financial picture gets even rosier. It'll be rosier still come next year when "Deathly Hallows, Part 2" arrives — quite possibly with an inflated 3-D ticket price.
" 'Part 2' will certainly out-gross 'Part 1' and has a chance of becoming the top-grossing 'Potter' in the eight-film series," Pandya said. "New fans aren't joining the party, but the base is large enough to keep the series going."

On Sunday, a number of A-listers gathered at BBC Radio 1's Teen Awards 2010 held at Hammersmith Apollo in London. The show honors not only celebrities like Robert Pattinson but also inspiring teens, the BBC reports.
Taylor Swift took the stage wearing a crème lace dress. She performed new hits "Speak Now" and "Mine" and Fearless favorite "Love Story." "I think that an event like this really encourages teens that they can change the world and they can make a difference," she said. "It's wonderful to see so many vibrant, passionate people here who just happen to be young."
Other performers for the night included the Wanted, Professor Green and Olly Murs, who rose to fame on "The X Factor." Robert Pattinson, given the prize for Best Actor, is currently shooting "Breaking Dawn" and accepted his award via recorded message. Katy Perry, in a white latex dress, was on hand to give an award to 16-year-old Connor Rowntree who, after suffering from life-threatening burns, now works on a fire-safety campaign. "He's amazing. He's like walking motivation for me, I think for a lot of people," she said. "I love being part of these type of awards that have heart and talent."
Perry also tweeted about the event, writing, "Omg the kids are SO loud here @ the Radio 1 Teen Awards. Loudest I think I've ever heard! This is gonna b amazin! #LONDON, #FUNDON (T.swift)"
Other teen winners included 17-year-old Alex Williams, who became disabled after having meningitis as a child. He now is a sports ambassador for other disabled young people. Jack Bennett, 16, also took home a prize for being a teen entrepreneur after he set up a farm for free-range chicken.

Kanye West Performs Rousing 'Lost In The World' At Thanksgiving Day Parade
Despite appearing to be lip-synching, rapper delivers spirited performance at annual Macy's event.

The Kanye West promo march continues, so naturally the Chicago rapper took his show to the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Amidst marching bands and balloon versions of Kermit the Frog, SpongeBob SquarePants and Spider-Man, Yeezy performed a rousing though shortened rendition of "Lost in the World" from his just-released fifth album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.
As more than two million people lined the parade route and millions more watched from home, West performed in front of Macy's flagship location near Manhattan's Herald Square on 34th Street at around 11:20 a.m. West kicked his verse from "Lost in the World" along with its chorus atop the Big Apple float, which was adorned with a giant apple and a New York taxicab coming out of a tunnel below it. Wearing a long fur vest, leather pants and a gold V-neck shirt, West delivered a spirited performance despite the fact that he appeared to be lip-synching.
Interestingly, Matt Lauer was one of the NBC broadcast's hosts of the parade. Lauer interviewed West during his infamous appearance on the "Today" show that led the rapper to cancel a scheduled performance on the program. West also compared Lauer to a child abuser during a speech at his not-so-secret show at New York's Bowery Ballroom on Tuesday night. Nevertheless, it was Lauer who introduced West.
Other performers at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade included the casts of the Broadway musicals "Memphis" and "Elf," Jimmy Fallon with the Roots, folk singer Arlo Guthrie and Keri Hilson, who performed on the My Princess Academy float.
